Why do some Kobe/Laker fans let Kobe haters get under their skin?

I do understand why there are some Laker/Kobe fans who say MJ is better and all that. That's just to piss MJ fans and Kobe haters off. But understand this, Laker/Kobe fans didnt start anything. It's the haters that started saying "He's selfish" "He ran Shaq out of LA" "Hes a rapist" "Cant get anywhere with Shaq" and all those things. Actually, the media might of started that too so they are basically Kobe haters, too. Bottomline is, we are tired of you hating on Kobe. And no Kobe fans don't "hes god." I dont even know why you people say that. We just enjoy watching Kobe and watch him be successful. And then Kobe haters come to hate. Then MJ fans come in and say "Yeah but MJ is better." We are so TIRED of hearing about that. It's Kobes, time. So there might be some Laker/Kobe fans that act immature but that's just to defend Kobe and his greatness. And I'm glad there's people like that. So just understand who started this all.

I have been a "Kobe-hater" in the past. This was due to his selfish play, the Shaq drama, and the date rape case. However, I think that Kobe is starting to mature. I was really impressed on how well he spread the rock during the finals last season. Plus he did an outstanding job representing the USA at the Olympics. If he keeps this up, many of the "Kobe-haters" will disappear. Peace!!

Laker and Kobe fans said MJ is better to piss off MJ fans and Kobe haters? Are you sure? I think you're pissing Laker and Kobe fans off instead. You sound like you have a lot of things to say, that was pent up inside of you and it came out disorganized. Sounds like they're getting under your skin instead too. People become defensive and touchy when their hero/idol is being attacked. Every player have haters like Kobe, I've known plenty. People acknowledged he's a good player but they can still hate Kobe.

Let's see what Laker fans / Kobe jocks have done in the past that may offend some people:





1) Bring up false logic like Pippen is better than Jordan; claiming the 1990's era was watered down; calling Jordan a bald headed Dominique Wilkins; and claiming that Phil Jackson said Kobe is a better player than MJ to discredit everything he has accomplished during the 1990's. Laker fans or Kobe supporters, not only offend fans of every team/ players during that era but they also take away any credability of their knowledge of NBA history. There is a reason why the 1992 Dream Team will go down as one of the greatest U.S.A. Basketball Team ever assembled in history. Discrediting what Jordan has accomplished during the 1990's is like dissing Magic and Bird for what they did for the NBA during the 1980's.





2) Talk sh!t about every great player in the NBA who threaten's Kobe's reign as the best player in the NBA for that particular year. First, they made fun of Wade in a wheel chair because Shaq was able to get a ring without Kobe in Miami. Then Kobe jocks started attacking LeBron after he singlehandedly carried the Cavs to the Finals by calling him LeBrick. Then they get on Chris Paul's case because he was Kobe's main competition for the MVP award. Now, it's Paul Pierce's turn for humiliation because he took away a Finals MVP award, that many Laker fans believed, was overdue to Kobe, even though his team lost badly in the Finals. Sorry folks, Kobe isn't Jerry West in this situation.





3) Talk sh!t about many NBA teams. Calling the Warriors the worst team in California (before BD bolted for L.A.); claiming all Boston fans are bandwagoners; dissing the Bulls when the possibility of Kobe getting traded to Chicago became a possibility, calling Utah Jazz fans the worst fans in the world; stepping on Denver / and their fans after the 4-0 blowout in the playoffs, just to name a few. Even when they lost badly in the Finals to C's, they still managed to find ways to hate on the Celtics as evident by calling Pierce names and making fun of his wheel chair incident. Laker fans or Kobe jocks, not only display themselves as sore losers with these type of behaviors but they also make themselves look like sore winners with their inability to stay humble and show respect for their opponents. If Kobe can learn to stay humble through age and maturity, why can't Lakers / Kobe fans do the same?

No matter who the player is there will always be someone who puts them down. MJ had the same thing in his day. Kobe has just had more trouble in the media than MJ did. So, to people who hate the lakers, this is ammunition for them.

This dudes a moron. Shaq didnt give hem 3 rings. They both EARNED them. Lebron joined an elite team to get a ring easier. Kobe atleast stays on his team and still wins. Look up Kobe matures into a leader, and tell me he isnt one. Lebron this season is third lowest in scoring. If Kobe scored 81 then who gives a ****, they still won anyway. When James pretty little face gets a finger swipe, he has to ***** and moan to the refs about it being too hard and physical.
