Why do Laker fans think that EVERY SINGLE FREE AGENT wants to come to LA? Why are they so greedy?

When Garnett was a free agent, he's coming to LA. When Bosh was a free agent, he's coming to LA. When LeBron was a free agent, he's coming to LA. When Chris Paul was a free agent, he's coming to LA (though that almost happened). When Dwight and Nash are free agents, their coming to LA (that actually did happen though). When Mike Brown gets fired, Lakers IMMEDIATELY want Phil. Now after all their failures, they are thinking of pursuing LeBron and Carmelo next year when they become free agents.

The question is..... WHY!!!!! Why can't Laker fans quit being so stuck and butthurt and just accept the players/talent they have (or more like HAD) and make the most of it instead of trying to score every big free agent that they could get their hands on? Jeez

The lakers have a legacy full of superstars. Why wouldn't any other superstar want to play for the lakers? Even as a laker fan, I can admit that right now, the lakers aren't a very attractive destination to other superstars but the laker will ALWAYS be known as one of the most stories franchises. The lakers always come back. Just because they're going through hard times, doesn't mean they just roll over and die. No way. Who wouldn't wana be mentioned with the greats and be apart of the rich laker legacy. And wHY THE HELL WOULDN'T THE LAKERS WANT PHIL BACK? What's so wrong about that? He has an amazing relationship with Kobe, has done great things for this team, and is engaged to the owner! It's not like they were trying to get coach popovich!

The Lakers have a reputation of being a good, rich team. Since the lakers have been always a decent team, Lakers fan feel that all players want to go there, which makes a little sense but not too much. In the end most players don't even end up there. It's just a lot of Lakers fans hopeful for new, good players.

The point of offseason and free agency is so franchises can try to get good players. Why would teams just say to themselves "We have a bad roster so instead of trying to get really good players, we will just accept what we have and suck next few years and hope for the best." All the names you listed are very good players good coaches. The way you get a Championship is with good players and good coaches. You can't win a championship with sub par players. Phil Jackson is (if not one of the) best coaches in NBA history. 11 championship rings and brought a new look to the game. I do not blame Lakers for trying to get their former coach who had a lot of success. Teams should always try to acquire good players so I do not see why the Lakers are being greedy. The Heat have LeBron, Wade, Bosh, tried to possibly get Nash, and they are not greedy. Chances are that Lakers will not do that good next season but they did sign Chris Kaman who is an okay center. I agree that fans should accept who they have but I disagree with you on saying the Lakers are greedy on trying to get players.

Because they are extremely lucky to be a rich and spending team. They already think they have a good reputation of recruiting players from other teams since they are able to pay players well and have the history of playing well.

I'm going to tell you this, no Lakers fan in the right mind will want "KG,Pierce,Rondo,James Harden,Ibaka,Mark Gasol,Rudy Gay or even Lebron James" & stick this in your thick skull. We did in FACT ask for "CP3,D.Howard, & D.Williams to come to LA but it didn't work out except for D.Howard. The Clippers fans in FACT wanted "KG,CP3,Pierce & of course D.Howard." The Clips did try to make a trade deal with the Lakers for D.Howard for exchange of Blake Griffin. Don't believe me? Look it up!
