look at the lakers lineup if they keep their players:
C - Bynum/Turiaf/Gasol
PF- Gasol/Turiaf/Odom
SF - Odom/Radmonovic/Walton/Kobe/Ariza
SG - Kobe/Sasha
PG - Fisher/Farmar

i think the 3(Odom,Gasol,Bynum) can switch their positions in PF and C, if Bynum is out Gasol can be on that spot so lamar will go to PF, if Gasol is out Odom can fillup the position of PF, in SF Kobe can be there, Radmanovic and Ariza (they can shoot 3's) in sg and PG position no problem you have Fisher and Farmar as Backup and Sasha for Kobe,

that lineup looks great but I would keep Trevor ariza at the SF; he hast proven himself offensively. Plus Sashe Vujacic is a awesome shooter so he should stay at the SG position so he can roam the perimeter abnd hit open 3's. I think Bynum can D up physical Big Men and Turiaf has shown flashes of defensive brilliance (only flashes) but the big question is if Pau Gasol can get stronger and get better on defense because KG absolutely ate him up. I also like the backcourt of Fisher Kobe and Vujacic: fisher is great at giving post entry passes so kobe can post up and at the same time Vujacic can make his cuts to get open for threes. I havent seen that combination much though. Lakers have a great chance next year if they can beat the hornets.

The Lakers shouldn't/won't trade anyone.

What they need to do though is to acquire a big man that can shoot a mid-long range jumper (Jackson's triangle can't be utilized properly without one.) In Chicago, Jackson used Livingston, Winnington, Cartwright, Kukoc & Shaq's Lakers had Robert Horry. Kobe's Lakers don't have a sure-shot Big Man. If you watched this year's FINALS Gasol & Odom passed away countless open jumpers.

Fantasy trade - Gasol + (____) for Nowitzki (but its not gonna happen)

i think it's pretty obvious lamar odom is the odd man out, he's the only one with trade value the lakers would be willing to trade,
