Is the decline of Kobe & the Lakers lack of a killer instinct going to give them a early playoff exit?

Kobe is no longer the guy that scored 70 points he is in serious decline & the lakers as a whole lack the fire of a champion..
Will they have an early playoff exit?
or will they drink the magic waters & be champions again?

Maybe youre right and maybe youre wrong. The "declining" Kobe as people like to say....is still capable of the being the finest shooter from the field...anywhere.....as was proven in the game against Miami recently. And looking at the fact that the Lakers EASILY beat Portland, whom had not been beaten at thier house by the Lakers in 5 years, Utah who was about to close in on a 10 game winning streak, San Antoinio, who is always a possible contender, and nearly Boston, who were lucky to have won because of crucial last second mistakes. All without Kobe and their starting center. Going 9-2 without Pau Gasol because of a hamstring injury wasnt too shabby either. Combine all that with Lamar Odom, who is a rebound king and can give you 20 points, 12+ Rebounds, a block and 1.5 steals on any given night, Ron Artest, whom is capable of pestering the leagues best better than anyone in the game, and lets not forget Kobes ability to turn it on late in 4th quarters, capable of scoring anywhere from 10 to 20 points within two and half minutes and i say you still have yourself a championship caliber team. The leadership of a man named Phil Jackson is nothing to shake a stick at either.

Who say's Kobe can't score 70 points? He averages over 25 points a game. He won't score 70 points in a game simply because he doesn't need to. He scored the 81 points because the team needed it. The Lakers team is better now than they were when he scored 81 points.

They are 1st in the west. Yes sometimes they loose games but I think it's too early to say they have lost there killer instinct. Could argue they are bored in the regular season as they know they will have a good seed in the playoffs.

The west playoffs will be interesting as any team making the playoffs in the West can beat the Lakers in a series, however the Lakers will be the favourites in all the West playoffs series.

If the Lakers and Cleveland make the finals, I'll be interested who wins. At the moment LeBron is better than Kobe, however I say overall the Lakers have a better team than Cleveland.

i'm undecided if it became intentional that the league gave the Lakers such an ordinary schedule, yet one might desire to argue it. The Lakers look to get the earnings of each and every thing. The Clippers have been given reemed with their schedule and that i'm beneficial my renowned group, the getting older Pistons won't do nicely with 21. easily relatively some undesirable communities have extra decrease back-to-backs. Miami is is likewise without doubt one in all the communities with the smallest quantity of decrease back to backs with merely 19. this is relatively available it somewhat is gearing in the direction of a Lakers/warmth finals.

Kobe has hit 6 gamewinners this season.

Decline huh?..

He's gonna put the team on his back and carry them to another ring.

I would like it to be in Lebron's face, but Im afraid Lebron might not make it to the finals.

if they meet Portland in 1st round they could be out early. i predict kobe gets injured and not play full strength. that way cavs win. i dont like it but thats what crystal ball is showing.

they are not going to make early exit but if they meet Mavs or Nuggets, then its over, because LA clearly is not ready for these teams
