Ok, I'm the best player on my 8th grade team. and i gotta tournament wed, thur, fri and sat. i need to know what i can do to get my mind set, and also wats best to eat before the game, in the morning and the best snack to eat before the game...

Avoid pop. That stuff actually sucks the wind from you. Although you are in 8th grade so probably have plenty of energy, you need all you can get playing 4 days in a row. Pasta is great. For snacks, get something with peanut butter. As for the games, remember you can only play one at a time. Don't think about Thursday's game until the Wednesday game is over, etc. Also, remember, basketball is the best game in the world. Still a game. Enjoy it!

Pasta is the best food if you have a while before a game. Eats lots of carbs if you have time to digest them. Otherwise, I would say just eat whatever you usually do. But no McDonalds or junk food, and no energy drinks lol. I love how people think those actually help. Other than that, just listen to music that pumps you up to get psyched for the game. My hockey team always listened to the Get Rollin Remix before every game.

you just have to practice hard, i know your the best, but you can't slack.. with that, you will be more confident.. you can eat light foods but those which provide adequate amount of energy..
