I've always wanted to contact him whether it be by email, phone, or in person. Do you any of those? (phone number, email) I'm 16 and he is my role model... Please help!

Technically all contact is a foul. The problem is the inconsistancy in which the refs call the games. If they would call it tighter in the beginning of the game, they would have control and make their job easier in the latter three quaters. The inconsistency is what is frustrating. Why do they allow so much traveling and carrying? These violations also allow a player to gain ana advantage on the defensive player. Shuffling their feet before they put the ball on the floor, or a flagrant carry on a crossover will get you past any defender if the officials don't call it. Why do they let so many players get away with using their off arm to hook or clear out a defender. This is also a foul. Again, inconsistency. I have been coaching High School Basketball for 20 years, and these inconsistencies are at every level. If the officials would call them tighter at the High School and College levels, the players would learn to play the game the way it is supposed to be played. If an official takes control of the game in the first quater, and calls it consistantly throughout, the players can adjust to the way the official calls the game. When there is inconsistency, it is hard to know what that official is going to call and what you can get away with. Contact is a foul, and should always be called as a foul, no matter who the player is! We need consistency from the officials.

Athletes shouldn't be role models in my opinion. Go find someone that has true value. Don't get me wrong I like basketball and LeBron.
