Do you think Amare would have wanted to be a third option type player in Miami?

Alot of people saying that Wade and Lebron should have asked Stoudemire to join them instead of Bosh because he is stronger, more dynamic ad athletic, has better post game (I can't deny that). However, I still don't know if he would have been happy behind a third option type player. I always felt he could win on a team as the second best player.
Also Amare would have had more pressure to play D (something he does not take pride in).

Personally, I don't think Amar'e Stoudemire was ever seriously considering the idea of playing with the Miami Heat this year. Throughout the entire 2009-10 NBA season (and right after he predictably opted out of his contract with the Phoenix Suns), he made it clear that while winning was important, money was even more important. He wanted to go to a team that had a decent shot at the NBA Title in a few years, but also a team that was willing to build their team around him and give him a ridiculous amount of money. Well, that team was the New York Knicks. The Big Three in Miami already had this scenario planned out since the NBA Draft, agreeing to have contracts that would all expire in the same year. Also, Lebron, Wade, and Bosh took pay cuts to play with each other, and there is also a report that they all took even more of a paycut to keep Udonis Haslem (Wade's idea). Haslem would of made a ton of more money if he signed with the Mavs, for example, but Haslem said that he was willing to stay in Miami for a certain price, which was already a discount. At the beginning, the Heat were unwilling to give him the money he was asking for, but after Wade persuaded Lebron and Bosh to take a bigger discount, Haslem stayed.
To answer your question, no Stoudemire was not going to Miami and he doesn't even want to be a second option on a team.

Lmao @ these dumbasses saying Bosh is better than Amare. He beats Bosh in almost every important statistical category.

For some reason I am thinking this.
Amare decided to go to NY, he thought he would have more players around him, maybe Melo, so he can compete in the playoffs.
But, the way it went, it don't seem, Amare was looking for what he wanted.
U need more money to have Amare, if I am Miami Heat.
