If a player has a W or waiver beside his name it means he is on waivers in the fantasy game.All Yahoo team sport leagues are like this.
That means someone has dropped him from their fantasy team and no one else can claim him until he comes off the waiver list.He will then have an FA beside his name.
In most Yahoo leagues the waiver time is set at 2 days by the league Commissioner(the person who set up the league and runs it)
If a player has an FA beside his name it means he is a free agent and anyone in the league can pick him up but they must drop another player from their team in order to do so because all leagues have a set number of players as determined by the commissioner before the season begins.
