It's not about basketball anymore.



Half of the people on this section create multiple accounts and answer their own questions to get points.



Then those same people, create other accounts and bash other people for "cheating" the same way they do!



There's also too many "joke accounts" that aren't even funny.



At least be funny if your going to be childish and stupid.



Anyway, basketball has taken more of a back seat to stupid cliques, point stealing, and stupid joke accounts.

It is so stupid how everyone is becoming so obsessed with catching cheaters. Seriously, it is summer time people - go for a walk, play sports, go for a walk, get a job. Do whatever instead of wasting your darn time making assumptions about who is cheating in this section.



It is ok if you have concrete evidence of someone cheating and you want to share that for our own knowledge; that I find respectable. I find it juvenile that some people are willing to run other users' names into the mud over pure speculation and no hard evidence - now that is just rude and disrespectful to the user that has worked hard to develop a certain reputation here in this section and have some douchebags try to ruin that for them...



I understand that the user questions may increase and I have come to the realization that those questions are somewhat inevitable. After a while when you are a member of a social online community, you will develop bondsacquaintancess with other users because you have something in common (e.g. basketball teams one prefers). We just have to ensure that we are not leaving out other users who aren't as "out there" in comparison to the well-known users.



Plus, as others have previously mentioned, it is the off-season and no huge trades have taken place so there is not much to talk about. I agree, it is kinda boring in here and I find myself in the wrestling section more often these days. :P

It's the off season, you can expect a little downtime. The serious users don't have as many questions to ask, which opens it up to the trolls.



Things will pick up when training camp starts, and hit their full stride a weak before the season starts, when everyone will be making their predictions.

Lol me too. I was like a computer geek before, spent a lot of hours on yahoo answeres but know I dont know what happened. Some users went missing, not a lot of good questions, and weird trolls. Thats what happened. I hope the good users that dont come on a lot come back! :)

hey KONJ...well, to be honest, it was because I was away for over a month, it gets kind of boring like that...lol just kidding guys. well, because the big trades already happened (Shaq, Sheed, RJ, Artest, Marion, etc) and the basketball world is slow after the Finals ended. A lot of users on Yahoo Answers only come to the NBA section when games are on and even more during the playoffs. I am guilty of this at times, because it does seem to die out and football is on my mind now instead of basketball, but I will show up here (almost always after a big name has been traded).

Why don't you bash other e-feds too then? You just pick on YWSE. E-feds are a fantastic idea for people to get involved with wrestling related things. You can talk to people about things you share in common and you can make friends which makes the Yahoo! Answers experience a whole lot better. If you just stay here, you read a load of crap questions, the same questions over and over! You must be jealous because you're not actually in the e-fed and you probably never will be. You can check all my Best Answer's and probably like 10 of them are from YWSE people. The rest are from random people. So what you stated is false and you have no proof to back up your comments, therefore you should shut the f*ck up. Clearly you have nothing better to do with your life than bash e-feds on Yahoo. I suggest you go apply for a job at wal-mart, that way you'll have something to do and occupy that little pea brain of yours. And on a final note: YWSE contains some of the best Yahoo! users. It's summer vacation for us school kids, so people have a lot more free time to troll and do what's been happening lately. That's with all the troll questions and stuff. For the lack of basketball questions, it's just because it's the offseason and most big free agents have already been signed. The offseason is really boring right now.



I haven't been accused of cheating. Yet. Lol I want to though, it seems like fun.
