That would have been something. If Nash remained where he was, instead of picking up the then sorry *** Suns before him, I'm sure the Mavericks would have had more prestige, exposure, championships, and he and Dirk would have been fighting each other for the number one spot on the team. The Mavs would have surely won a Championship, unlike those say cheating Spurs in 2007.

Anyway, as it is now, I think the future proved sharp. Even though both teams are still struggling for that number one postion, Nash and Dirk playing for the same team all these years, would have gotten boring. People probably wanted to see a break from those two, much like Shaq and Kobe, I believe in 2004. Two great, future Hall of Fame, G.O.A.T, Nash anyways, players, would have had difficulty achieving solo sucess, had not it been for the breakup.

I think mother nature made the right call.

Nash for the win.

a million. Garnett, and Ray Allen deserve a hoop. 2 of the classiest human beings in the NBA and have completed no longer something yet been super place fashions, ambassadors to the activity, and mentor for youthful gamers arising. 2. Allen Iverson (no longer copying you i sware!!) somebody with that a lot heart and attempt would desire to be rewarded. 3. Nash and Hill. returned extraordinarily a lot the comparable reason that Garnett and Allen are #a million those 2 basically have not got the accolades as garnett and Ray. additionally i like the way Nash has made over the craze of the league making each person undertake a quicker greater exciting play style. Others you pronounced i do no longer think of they have paid their dues.

Humm...i don't agree with you when you say that Nash is a top 5 point guard of all time. Yeah for sure, he's in the top 10, but he's not good enough in defense and haven't reached the finals yet. So when you don't have fill this two "conditions, you can't be in the top 5. Plus, he can play in only one situation : run&gun. And yet, a very good point guard can play in all the situations : up-tempo, run & gun, up-tempo...

You are correct!

At least two: They would have beaten Miami in the Finals, they wouldn't have lost to Golden State that one year, but don't think they could have beaten the Celtics...
