i'm not asking where will dwight go. i'm asking, out of all the teams interested in acquiring him, which one can give the magic the best offer in exchange?

what trade package can that team potentially offer?

Personally i really dont want him to go but...

The Lakers- This would turn the NBA into even more of a big market game but its probably the most likely to go down. They offer Gasol and Bynum/Odom a couple of picks.

The Nets- I think the Nets would be crazy to not offer up D-Will as he was their consolation prize and the Magic would be better of getting Williams for nothing!

The Grizzlies- This WONT happen but i read an article suggesting the Magic should trade for Gay, Gasol and Picks that would be awesome for the Magic.

If thunder is really planning for a play-off push, They should acquire Howard. Magic is lacking a good PF and young SG. Richardson is aging. They need versatile, agile and athletic players needed for their type of play like Harden and Ibaka. So they might trade Howard for this scoring and defensive threat. Perkins also has play-off experience. Magic needs to rebuild because even Howard is the best Center currently, he cant lead his team. Thunder, on the other hand, needs experience. They made it through western conference finals last year with very young roster. Also, Durant and Westbrook is the hottest duo on the rise like Jordan and Pippen. They need Howard to give the defensive depth and offense help as the 3rd scoring option. Imagine, Westbrook, Durant and Howard. Anderson though not a good player contemplates Howard`s play. The trade could be a problem for thunder because they will be losing a lot of young potential players.

This could be the line-ups:

MAGIC

PG - Jameer Nelson/Arenas/Duhon

SG - James Harden/Richardson/Redick

SF - Hedo Turkoglu/Earl Clark

PF - Serge Ibaka/Bass/Orton/Allen

C - Kendrick Perkins/Aldrich/Mullen

THUNDER:

PG - Russell Westbrook/Maynor/Ivey/Vaden

SG - Daequan Cook/ Sofalosha/Jackson

SF - Kevin Durant

PF - Ryan Anderson/ Collison

C - Dwight Howard/Mohammad

Well, Dwight Howard should more likely to stay with the Orlando Magic much longer if Lakers, Hawks, Heat, Knicks, Bulls, Celtics, 76ers, Spurs, Hornets, Thunder or Clippers are very close accept the trade on the first attempt.

one million. Bulls (Noah, Watson, Gibson, draft selections) 2. New Jersey (Lopez, Outlaw, draft selections) 3. l. a. Clippers (Kaman, Gomes, Foye, draft selections) those are the only 3 communities I provide valid probabilities of having Howard.

I wouldn't be worrying about trading for Howard now.. Lets wait and see if he'll go a whole year with ORL first

lakers because they are the only team that can offer what magic is asking for
