Kobe has no Final MVPS!

Kobe has lost the finals when he had Shaq.

Jordan has 6 Final MVPS!

Jordan is 6-0 in the finals.

I have to admit as a Laker fan, MJ was the greatest.

You forgot one thing, MJ got a college education, meaning he came into the league the years later than Kobe did. Rookie MJ ABSOLUTELY would RAPE the current Kobe. No disputes.

Watered down 90's? Were you even alive back then, boy? Do you know who was playing at that time? Stockton, Malone, Reggie Miller, Barkley, Payton (in his prime), Shaq (in his early prime), Hakeem, David Robinson, Isaiah Thomas, Brad

Daugherty and heaps of other future HOFers.

The play in those days were much more physical too. They didn't have clowns like Ginobili, Varejao, Kirilenko and the like falling down every time someone tapped them. Some of the fouls called during those days would be considered flagrants today.

If anything, this decade is the one that is watered down. Guys falling down every time they felt something other than the ball touching them.

So please, get your head out your ***, get off Kobe's nuts and start respecting the legends that made NBA history.

Jordan = GOAT

Kobe got nothing on MJ you must be smoking crack so please stop that man it ruins the brain

want to see who has more bling? alright.... lets compare what kobe has accomplished so far at the age of 29 and jordan accomplished in his career

Kobe

A few all star selections... and all team selections and 3 nba championships and one time slam dunk

his championship was cause of shaq... and hell he even lost the finals with malone payton and shaq at his side to the pistons.. is that being great?

Jordan:

6 nba championships (with a 72-10 season best still unbreakable)

5 MVPS (how many does kobe have?? oh right nada!)

a whole lotta nba all defensive and all star selections

2 slam dunk titles

and 2 olympic gold medals.... part of the dream team and thats not nba standard only thats world standard already

playing scoring 59 points and more at the age of 38 an nba record... getting selected in an allstar game at the twilight of his career... question is can kobe keep up when hes alreaydy at his 30s??

shall i continue on how many more accolades he got??

watered down 90s? dude seriously how old are you? the 90s had olajuwon, barkley, miller (prime), the still competent larry bird, drexler, and a whole cast of allstars... dude the 90s was the turning point of basketball kobe would be owned if he played at those years..

whos kobe's coach?? phil jackson Jordan's coach.. by the time kobe got to be coached by jackson he is already a zen master so you cant compare whos better at 29 saying he is better than jordan at 29 ? lol its making me laugh

look at his starting seasons.. and stats compared to kobe? lol

comparing Jordan to kobe is just plain stupid... hands down

Kobes team in the 2004 finals

Shaq

Kobe

Malone

Payton

with jackson at the helm

then how the heck did they lose to the pistons if kobe is so great EPIIIIIIIIIIIC FAIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLL

Don't overrate Kobe. Michael played in an era of tougher defenders and played tougher defense than Kobe. The number of HOF players in his era is rediculous if you look at it. 90's watered down? It had better teams than this era. I wish the Knicks had the team they had back then, we could definately win the championship now.

Take away Shaq and Kobe has no defense titles and no tit less at all, pretty easy to play defense when shaq is there ask Haslem and Zoe. And yes mJ is overrated, I watched the Jazz with Malone and Stockton, 16 straight years malone was never tripled teamed or doubled team like Dirk, and Malone only had one shot, if Dirk had that many open looks, or If Kobe played back then, Dirk would be scoring champ for 8 years. And Kobe would be scoring champ for 8 years in the late 80's to early 90's etc.....

everyone stop comparing kobe and mj. both these two are great players and are both different players. kobe is kobe and mj is mj. The only way to compare these two were if they were twins or looked the same. but they arent. in 2004 kobe had shaq, malone, and payton. yeah yeah he had 3 other future hall of famers but look what happened during the finals. shaq was over-weight and already was declining, malone was hurt in the finals and only played like 1 game in that series and payton was inconsistent. remember when the lakers were healthy in 2004 they started 18-3 before malone went down. he was the lakers only power forward that was effective. so calling kobe a loser for not winning a title in 04 is the same thing with shaq. people call him the greatest center because he's so called "dominant" and shaq lost 2 times in the finals. shaq wins titles because he needs another all star by his side. kobe won 3 titles because it wasnt all about shaq. if shaq was SO great why didnt the coaches give shaq the ball with 5 seconds left in the game to win it? shaq's 4th title was because of d-wade. he took over. so shaq won that title because of D-WADE not because shaq did it by himself. BULLSH!T. basketball is a team sport. one man cant win a title by himself. so michael jordan had scottie pippen and michael didnt start winning titles until phil jackson came along and pippen was there with him. also michael jordan was surrounded with great role players, he had dennis rodman, horace grant, tony kukoc, steve kerr, paxson, and ron harper. also if people call kobe for being a ball hog. then look at kobe's career point average. its 25ppg. mj's avg is 30ppg. so that makes mj a ball hog too. if you win scoring titles that makes you a ball hog too. i dont hate mj i respect his game. its just the fact that people cant seem to let mj go. its in the past. he was great in HIS era. now KOBE's the best in his era. and after kobe retires its going to be LEBRON. so there's always going to be a player called the best when the previous best player retires. and i think wilt chamberlain is the greatest because he is the only guy to avg 50ppg and 48 mins per game in a season. which mj and kobe or lebron will ever do. and that's a fact. and wilt avg 22 rebs a game. which to me makes wilt the greatest player to play the game of basketball and did mj break the scoring record? NO! wilt is still the record holder with 100 points in a game and 2nd to wilt is 81 points by kobe. has mj ever done that? no. his career high is 69. so does that make kobe a better scorer than mj. not true. all 3 scorers were in different eras. and if people say that the nba today is wack because you cant hand check. then how come allen iverson or lebron hasnt gone off for 70 points? you answer that for me. yeah that's right if the nba is SO soft now then everyone would be able to put up 50,60,70 or even 81 points a night so fck off. KOBE'S the best in his era and MJ was the best in his era. end of dicussion.

Something is terrible wrong with you to try to discount the accomplishments of arguably one of the best players in NBA history.

Kobe will never accomplish what jordan has individually and more specifically as a teammate.

As everyone has already stated you must me under 10 years old. The NBA in the 90's was filled with more talented great players and teams than the era tha tkobe is playing in now.

OK this is coming from a Kobe fan Diehard since he came in.....

Jordan was better, but i think Kobe can match him at theend of his career, i hate how haters like King think Kobe sucks Kobe can probably beat King 1on1 with 1 hand and an amputated leg.

If someone says Kobe sucks, or anybody in the nba, they are not true bball fans. EVERBODY IN THE NBA IS AN AMAZING BBALL PLAYER, LETS GET THAT STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!! do you realiz how hard it is to get to the NBA? Hell even Kwame Brown is a hell of a player, just not that great with the big boys.
