I must admit I underestimated the Suns and overestimated the Lakers. I was foolishly looking ahead to a Celtics v Lakers Final. I don't know why I assumed the Lakers were going to win this series. Oh well, I have learned my lesson. Anyway...
how do you guys feel about a Suns v Celtics Final? Does that seem like an interesting matchup?

A lot of people don't realize that the Suns and Celtics gave us an interesting series back in '76, so the match-up would be somewhat of a classic even though it is not an established rivalry. I don't know how many triple-overtime games there have been in the history of the finals, but I do know that the Suns were involved in two of them--one of those being in Game 6 of that Suns/Celtics series. I think anyone who pays some attention to NBA archives can tell you that this was a series that stands out in the history of the league, even if they were only 3 years old at the time, like me.
So yes, I think this match-up could be highly entertaining. And those who shudder at the thought of it are not demonstrating any knowledge or appreciation of the classic moments the game has provided in the past.

Although watching the C's in the finals is great, and if they win even better, from this Celtics fans standpoint I would much, MUCH rather see them bitchs*ap the lakers again. One I want to see them beat them at full strength, with ' knees o' glass bynum' in the lineup, to see what excuse the laker fans could possibly come up with this time. And two, I always belived it's better to go thru the champs to be the champs. That's the way it's earned. And realistically, if Boston didn't have injuries last year, maybe they'd be the ones playing for their third in a row. And thirdly.....Corey imagine what this playground known as Y/A would be like if the C's beat down on the lakers AGAIN! Not only from beating the lakers, but look at who they have gone thru so far to reach the finals......aren't Wade, James, Howard all supposed to be the best of the best? Who's next on that list????
Love your new parenthetical proclamation.
I have a question for you....how long does it take a broken finger to heal? I've broken quite a few bones and they all healed in a month or 6 weeks.

that would be cool
Lakers and Celtics hooked up in 2008
but I don't think Phoenix will beat the Lakers
it's the 80's all over again - Lakers and Celtics revilery renewed

The best match-up for me is Orlando and Phoenix so that there will be a brand new champion. But I guess the odds are stacked against Orlando. If Boston advances, then Boston wins. They're big, they're physical. Suns is pretty much like Orlando they have plenty of shooters and one great big man. Terrible match-up really. I'm picking Boston to win this year regardless of who of both team squeezes through. But if Phoenix makes it I'll still be rooting for them, I'm always for the underdog.
Hope this helps.

That would be the most boring finals ever, and why do you automatically assume the Suns won the series? (It was a game 4 and the series is tied 2-2 idiot)

I would of course im a Suns Fan so you know thats a yes with me.
A Celtics/Suns NBA Finals would be a rematch of the 1976 NBA Finals.
It would be the Celtics Defense vs Suns Offense.
IMO It would be a very interesting NBA Finals if it happens.

I would love to see that, the playoffs don't need a super duper star in it lol, i would like to see those two well put together teams go at it instead of seeing kobe score 40 while the rest of the team struggles. just like tonight lol
